Standing Committees
Constitution and Bylaws Committee
The Constitution and Bylaws Committee is responsible for ensuring a current and sound foundation for the IAPR.
Section 14.2 of the Bylaws says:
"The Constitution and Bylaws Committee shall review the provisions of the Constitution and the Bylaws and propose amendments and revisions to the Governing Board, as required to improve the effectiveness and operation of IAPR."
This remit includes the IAPR's Statutes, and entails:
- occasional review of the three documents (Constitution, Bylaws, and Statutes),
- drafting of motions for changes to these to bring to the Governing Board, and
- offering opinions on potential changes to the documents.
